In this solo exhibition at The Collection in Lincoln, Tom Martin explored the moral and political challenges encountered when trying to represent vulnerable communities with honesty and authenticity.
The exhibition shows Tom’s own images alongside documentary films from the Visionaries of Kigali participatory photography project, which worked with young people in Rwanda. By placing these images together the exhibition explored various modes and methods of representation.
